  1. Marti Franch's focus on working with the 4th dimension, time, was compelling to consider in a three-day durational event. What a gianormous challenge, to make something contemplative and considered within such a short space of time.

    We also got thinking about Harrell Fletcher's 'Corentine's Turtle'. Fletcher asked people who used a sculpture park in Brittany- to walk their dogs, run, play, fish- what kind of sculpture they wanted to see. He then worked with an 8 year old boy, to realise his idea. To create a turtle about one metre in diameter, that was gold, and painted grass green.
